One Word Project
Me and my friend Ethan had a hard time thinking of what we can create. Our word was loving but we had a hard time deciding on what we can do. We first thought about the idea of somebody giving each other teddy bear and expanding among that idea but we quickly got rid of that. We then though of the idea of a new kid in school and making a loving friendship. We both immediatley liked this idea and we started thinking of shots. The shots came fast and natural and we finished this pretty quickly. Below is a picture of the first page of our story board.
The story board helped us really visualize our project. Every picture we drew up helped us in the shooting process. The story board also made everything much smoother and faster. Thanks to our great organization and brainstorming before we shot, we saved a lot of time because we did not have to think about shots. We just went out there and shot.
I used I movie to help me edit this project. It is very simple and easy to use. Even though it is simple, it is very effective. It took me about 30 minutes to edit the project. I had a lot of fun editing and i look forward to editing again.
I feel like we could have done a lot better job of being more creative. We stuck to basic shots and a basic idea because we believed it was a challenging word. Maybe we could have used more out of school items.
I really like the way we expressed the word loving. I believe we got our idea clearly in a simple and effective way. I liked the challenges it imposed.
We used a tripod to help us shoot some over the shoulder shots. The most important thing about it was that when me and Ethan both had to be in the shots the tripod was able to record and give us the shots we wanted.
