For this quiz the instructions where to create a purely visual story using 15 shots. We had a list of specific shots and angles we had to do and the rest where up to me and my partner Jake. The trick was that it was a story about inanimate objects.
Me and Jake where thinking about the perfect idea for about 5 minutes and some pretty good ones came up. Some of those included, a pencil fight which came at a close second, and even a book fight. When he proposed a water bottle fight, pretty quickly we agreed that would be the best idea. It was perfect, we both like action and we had so many creative ideas. We instantly headed outside and started the quiz.
We did not want to make it boring so we decided to go all out and risk our water bottles. We took shots that included both water bottles having to be thrown in the air in a certain position. On top of that, we had to take the picture at the right time. Some shots took over 10 tries. That had to be my favorite part of the project. The creative in air shots was an idea that we where both very proud of. My favorite shot was the wide 2 shot that showed a very good collision in air. This was the shot that took the longest.
I think the medium 2 shot of the white water bottle attacking first could have been better. It was not a very good medium shot. It showed to much of the black water bottles body and was over all bland.
Over all, it was a very fun quiz that really forced me and my partner Jake to use our creative side and we are very proud of it.
